God, I pray for your perspective. Allow me to see the trials of this life as you see them. Allow me to see the people surrounding me as you see them. Allow me to see both my abilities and my responsibilities as you see them. Amen.


If you want proof that God exists, each night write down one act of kindness someone bestowed upon you that day. By the end of the year, you will have documentation of the many ways God works through people to show you His love.


I’ve decided I need to begin humbling myself before the Lord… now, if I could just stop thinking of myself long enough to figure out what that means I’d be in great shape!


We may not know how our loving kindness will affect the dark places of the world, but we can be assured that its impact will be tremendous and more important than we could ever imagine.

I happen to believe that you should never say things to yourself that you wouldn’t say to a friend. To criticize the creation is to criticize the Creator.


Nothing clears up the post holiday blues like waking up and deciding to bless someone with kindness.
