Proverbs 3:28


One of my favorite lines is “She knew she could, so she did.” I wear that saying on a charm around my neck to remind me to do what I can, when I can, to add light to our world. What could you do, what could you give TODAY if you weren’t afraid of TOMORROW?

Proverbs 3:28 (NIV) says “Do not say to your neighbor, ‘Come back tomorrow and I’ll give it to you’— when you already have it with you.”

The Message Translation puts it like this: Never walk away from someone who deserves help; your hand is God’s hand for that person. Don’t tell your neighbor “Maybe some other time” or “Try me tomorrow” when the money’s right there in your pocket.
