Please help me get high for my birthday

My birthday is tomorrow, and I need your help deciding what to get myself. What I really want is for my husband to get a job, but since I don’t have any control over that, I’m going with Plan B. What I want for my birthday is to get high.

Now, I think we’ve known each other long enough for you to understand that I don’t want an artificial high, I want that awesome chemical reaction that happens in our bodies when we do an act of kindness for someone else. I want a Helper’s High.

I’m traveling tomorrow, flying from Columbus to Madison and then staying with my brother for a few nights while I have the honor of speaking at Stoughton Hospital.

I’m curious to hear about your ideas that I might be able to implement into my day to make another person’s day (and therefore my own) better.

Thank you for helping me start “44” off on the right foot!

P.S. The cake that Saul is holding in the photo isn’t actually the cake he gave me, it’s the cake I gave him for his birthday a few years ago. I asked a friend to make it. You kind of had to close your eyes to eat it, but it was delicious!
