Eh hem… since I am NOT on reality TV, it looks like I am on my own.

Saul and I met with the surgical oncologist today at THE JAMES and we have decided to wait until next week when we can meet with a radiology specialist and a reconstruction surgeon to make any major decisions. In short, we need more information.

What we do know is that some sort of surgery will happen in the next 6 weeks.

Meanwhile, spirits are high in the Phillips household. My boys had a playdate with a friend during our appointment today, but Jordan wanted to come along and check out THE JAMES for herself. She sat and listened as we talked with the doctor, and then came through in a huge way when we were struggling to figure out when to meet with all the specialists. “Mom, aren’t we flying out of Columbus next Wednesday for our trip to Chicago? Why don’t we just come a day early and meet with everyone?” Uh, BRILLIANT! She just managed to help me avoid making 3 separate 90 minute road trips to this clinic.
