Know by Heart


What you truly believe in your heart will eventually come out of your mouth. Are you okay with that? Or is it time to re-wallpaper that most essential organ with truths from our Creator about what it means to love yourself and others? Open the bible, find a line that speaks to you and turn it over again and again until it is one with your mind and your heart.

Here is the first one I ever memorized. I still turn to it often for strength and encouragement: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.” -Proverbs 3:5-6
