Brilliant Subway Art Saying #2: You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.
Number 1
All of my favorite sayings seem to be showing up as subway art. I can’t take credit for any of the brilliant sayings, but they sure are fun to share. Here’s Number 1: Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the floor each morning the devil says “Oh crap, she’s up.”
Gratitude=Peace
I’m seeing a direct correlation between my level of gratitude and my level of peace. The more gratitude I express in my thoughts and actions, the more peace I feel throughout my day. Not a new concept by any means, but one I seem to rediscover again and again.
God Sees You
Just because you can’t see God in your current situation doesn’t mean God can’t see you. Take comfort in knowing that you are never alone. Never.
God’s Compassion
When I am tired of doing good, when I am tired of BEING good, I am so grateful that God’s compassion will cover me until I am once again ready to let Him lead the way.
Be Picky
The thoughts, actions and attitudes of people rub off on us. Be picky about who you’re spending time with. Make it someone who feeds your soul and lifts you up. And then be intentional about being a person who does the same for every single being who brushes past you each day.
An Act of Devotion
Think about WHY you do what you do. Is it out of habit? A ritual? Every little thing we do with the intention of loving others is an act of devotion to God.
The Giver
Don’t rely on the gifts, rely on the Giver.
God Uses Everyone
When I get frustrated with (or even fearful of) people who are clearly not interested in being in line with God’s will, I remember that God has the power to use them to change my heart — even without their willing participation.
